Social Nudism
Social nudism is a healthy, life enhancing activity, enjoyed by people from all walks of life. Children, parents, grand-parents, singles and couples can all participate in the safe, family oriented environment fostered by the ANF.

In the early days social nudism took place mostly in clubs specially set up for that purpose. Gaining membership tended to be quite difficult and there were very strict rules relating to behaviour. However, as time has progressed,  partial and total nudity has become quite prevalent in films, magazines and on television. This has led to social nudism  moving much more out into the open, and besides the clubs it can now also be practised at nude and clothing optional resorts, bed & breakfast services, and a good number of legal and unofficial nude beaches. 

Home swimming pools have also contributed, with families and friends taking advantage of their privacy to swim and sunbathe without costumes. In fact there are several well established nudist social groups in Australia now which provide members with an ongoing circle of friends who have similar interests.

Each year during the Christmas holidays an annual ANF Convention and Sports Rally is held at one of the affiliated clubs. For ten days, providing the weather is suitable, you can literally live life in the nude. Much of the program is devoted to organised interclub sports, but there is usually a good range of other social and entertainment activities offered as well.

If you are interested in joining a club contact them for an introductory visit so you can meet some of the people, see what facilities they have, and learn what membership has to offer you. We all need friends with similar interests and nudist clubs usually have a varied sporting and social program. A list of affiliated clubs, groups and resorts is include in this web site.
